Dental Crown Materials
- All-Porcelain Crowns
- Resin Crowns
- Gold Crowns
All-Porcelain Crowns
Zirconia is comparable to natural teeth in its appearance and durability. With its high strength and excellent resistance to chewing force, zirconia crowns are a common choice.
Glass Ceramic has a translucent quality, making it the most alike to natural teeth. Being thinner than other porcelain combinations, glass ceramic crowns are less suitable for heavily worn-down teeth.
Resin Crowns
Resin can be likened to natural teeth in its appearance, however, resin crowns are fragile and often placed as a temporary solution.
Gold Crowns
Gold will, of course, give you a unique smile. Additionally, gold crowns are highly resistant to corrosion, fracture, and wear due to their strength.
