Same Day Teeth

Same-day teeth, also known as all on 4, teeth in a day, and same-day dental implants is a dental implants procedure that is completed in one day.

Our dental implants team is on hand to provide a painless, quick and friendly service. So, if you’re looking to learn more about our same-day teeth or all on 4 treatments in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and surrounding areas, please get in touch.

What Are Same Day Teeth?

Same-day teeth are the convenient, quick and easy solution to fixing dental problems that situate around multiple failing or missing teeth. There are many reasons why this can happen, such as gum disease, decay, and trauma – what’s important is that we can help.

Ordinary dental implants and cosmetic dentistry treatments can take months of repeat appointments, temporary solutions and discomfort, leaving you wishing there was a better option for you.

Now there is a better option for you as same day teeth provide a means of fitting dental implants all on the same day.

While the same can be done for a single tooth, same-day teeth are designed to deliver multiple tooth implants all at the same time.

Benefits of Same Day Teeth

Same-day teeth implants procedure offers several benefits for patients who need tooth replacement. Some of these benefits include:

Immediate Results

Same-day dental implants allow you to leave the dentist with a fully functional tooth or set of teeth on the same day as the implant procedure. This means you can immediately start using your new teeth to eat, talk, and confidently smile.

Natural-looking Teeth

Same-day dental implants are designed to look and feel like your natural teeth. They are perfectly matched in shape and colour to your surrounding natural teeth, making them blend perfectly and giving you that natural look.

Improve Self-esteem and Confidence Levels

Your new teeth will give you the confidence to smile and improve your appearance, speech and ability to eat and enjoy foods without worrying.

Improve Your Oral Health

Same-day teeth implants are designed to replace missing teeth and provide proper support for the surrounding teeth. This helps to prevent further tooth loss and gum recession, which can lead to oral health problems.

Improved Comfort

Same-day teeth implants provide better comfort than traditional dentures. They are permanently fixed in the mouth, eliminating the discomfort and embarrassment of removable dentures that can slip and move around in the mouth.

Same Day Dental Implants Process

Consultation and Planning

Firstly, you will have an implant consultation to ensure that same-day dental implants are right for you. This will include necessary X-rays and CT scans if required, and we will explain all the options available to achieve the desired teeth.

We will also discuss with you any medical conditions you may have, lifestyle choices and other factors that need to be considered before going ahead with the treatment. This is to ensure you are the right fit for same-day dental implants.

Once you are happy to go ahead with the treatment, we will take impressions to create your new teeth, and you will discuss a date for your appointment. For more information on the consultation stage, visit our implant consultation page here.

The Procedure

Before we start the procedure, you will be provided with local anaesthetic, and if required, IV sedation, and this will cause you to feel no pain during the procedure and make you feel much calmer. If you still have some teeth then these may need to be removed and the implants placed. A temporary bridge can then be provided, which attaches to the implants immediately after they have been placed. The implants need to be left to heal, normally for approximately 3 months before a final bridge is made and your smile completed.

You may experience some minor discomfort, swelling, and bruising, although this shouldn’t last too long. These symptoms can be managed with over-the-counter medications such as ibuprofen and paracetamol; however, you will be advised on this at your appointment.

Our practitioner will ensure you have all the information you need to ensure your experience is comfortable and your implants heal properly. We will also book appropriate check-ups with you to ensure your implants are healing properly and that your new teeth are settling in as expected. If you experience any problems or have any concerns with your new implants, get in touch with us, and we will be able to advise you as soon as possible.

Same Day Teeth FAQ

Are Same Day Teeth Implants Painful?

You will be under local anaesthesia or IV sedation during the procedure, so you shouldn’t feel any pain. However, after the procedure, you may experience some minor discomfort. This can be managed with over-the-counter medications such as paracetamol and ibuprofen.

Can I Use My New Same Day Teeth Implants Like Natural Teeth?

Yes, you can use your new teeth implants like natural teeth; however, you need to look after them like your natural teeth. This means you must brush your teeth twice daily and have check-ups twice a year to keep your teeth in good condition.

When you get your teeth fitted, we recommend that you not eat hard foods and soft foods for the first few weeks so that your new teeth implants have time to fuse to the bone. Once they have fused, there will be no restrictions on what you can eat and your teeth will function and feel as if they are your natural teeth.
